At Connico, we believe that the choices we make today have a lasting impact on our environment well into the future. Being a part of the process early provides for an understanding of the LEED goals and opportunities in which the cost perspective can be explored.
Connico can take the preliminary LEED checklist and begin analyzing the cost implications of pursuing each potential and achievable “point” and establish whether the anticipated costs necessary to reach a particular level of LEED certification are possible within the Owner’s budget.
Communicating and collaboration with the design team during design will enable the team to be made aware of budget impacts associated with the addition or deletion of scope associated with the “points” being pursued. As the design evolves and material selections are made, the estimates are updated at each milestone or deliverable.
